Sjors Dobbelaar
I have been a lawyer since 2010 and, since 2015, one of the co-founders of Legalloyd. For me, it’s a challenge to combine traditional legal work with innovative technology. I am proud of Legalloyd for being one of the frontrunners in the Netherlands.
A brief introduction
Specializations
I have been working in the restructuring practice since 2010. First at Freshfields, primarily for large international corporations, but now mainly for Dutch start-ups, scale-ups, and tech companies.
Since 2022, I have been a WHOA restructuring expert after completing an additional training program at Leiden University.
The Netherlands Bar
I am registered in the Netherlands Bar's register of legal areas:
- Corporate law (main legal area)
- Mergers and acquisition
- Directors' liability
- Companies
Based on this registration, I am required to earn ten continuing education points each calendar year in each registered main legal area according to the standards of the Netherlands Bar.
